At John Williams Heating Services, apprenticeships aren’t just a pathway—they’re our passion.
We proudly welcome the Prime Minister’s recent announcement to transform Further and Higher Education, placing technical education and apprenticeships on equal footing with university degrees. This bold vision aligns perfectly with our own values and long-standing commitment to nurturing talent.
As a family-run business for 21 years, we’ve seen first-hand how apprenticeships unlock opportunity and drive excellence. We’ve just recruited our 25th apprentice, a milestone that reflects our belief that apprenticeships are the lifeblood of our business and the future of our industry.
The government’s new target—for two-thirds of young people to gain higher-level skills by age 25, whether through university, further education, or a gold standard apprenticeship—is a welcome step toward a more inclusive and skills-driven economy. It’s time we gave equal respect to those who choose a hands-on, skills-based route into the workforce.
We’re excited to see investment in technical excellence and a renewed focus on preparing young people for the jobs of tomorrow. At John Williams Heating Services, we’ll continue doing our part by nurturing talent, creating opportunities, and championing apprenticeships in the heating industry.
“Apprenticeships have shaped our business and our people. We’re proud to support this national renewal and help build a future where every young person has the chance to thrive.”
