Dorothy House Hospice care based in Winsley, Bradford On Avon, Wiltshire have been awarded a cheque for £1,500.00 from the Sponsorship of John Williams Heating Services at The 999 Emergency Services Show last September.The Cheque was awarded last week to Emily from Dorothy House by John and Debbie Williams at the Bumpers
Farm Showroom.
Last year’s show raised over £25,000 and all of the proceeds will be donated to charities that support the work of the ‘blue light’ organisations and will be presented to charities next year. In 2011 donations totaling £18,500 were made to local good causes.
They have donated tens of thousands of pounds since the event first started in 2005. As well as raising money for these good causes, their aim is to provide a fun and informative day out for all ages.
